A course to help better prepare people who deal with Yukoners living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is attracting a number of Yukon service providers.
The case management course will be taught by FASD expert Donna Debolt to 25 people representing Non-Government Organizations such as outreach groups, the Yukon Government, and First Nations.
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Society Yukon Executive Director Michael McCann says this is a first of its kind course in Yukon.
McCann says the course will teach providers how to better prepare, and work with people living with FASD in the territory.
The public is invited to take in the first two training blocks starting February 28th at the Westmark Whitehorse.
