National

Canada Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Research Network (CanFASD) is an alliance of eight jurisdictions that works towards the development and promotion of an interprovincial/territorial approach to prevention, intervention, care and support of individuals affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

Child & Family Research Institute (CFRI) is committed to world-class research spanning a wide range of children's and women's health concerns. It is the largest research institute of its kind in Western Canada.

FASDchildwelfare.ca is a new website for the Canadian Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), child welfare Community of Practice. The website is designed to promote and facilitate knowledge exchange of all registered interested parties via blogs, discussion forums, sharing recent projects, research reports, and links to important resources in the field of FASD and child welfare.

Ministry of Children and Family Development is a British Columbia Ministry responsible for providing a range of services and supports for children and youth with special needs and their families.

BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority, providing a diverse range of mental health services to people across BC.

British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women's Health's (BCCEWH) mission is to improve the health of women through innovative research and the development of women-centred programs, practice, and policies. BCCEWH collaborates with women's health researchers across British Columbia, across Canada and around the world and is known internationally for its work on women tobacco issues, as well as our change-oriented research and knowledge exchange activities.

Provincial Outreach Program for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (POPFASD), sponsored by the BC Miistry of Education has a mandate to provide services via the website so that teachers, parents, students and others can increase their understanding of FASD. POPFASD shares current research, ideas, strategies, training and resources in order to build capacity in school districts for students with FASD and their teachers.

Public Health Agency of Canada's home page for information FASD and updates on what PHAC is doing around the issue of FASD.

Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) is Canada's national addictions agency whose mission is to provide objective, evidence-based information and advice that will help reduce the health, social and economic harm associated with substance abuse and addictions.

Alberta Health Services (formerly AADAC) information on programs and services to assist Albertans in leading healthy lifestyles free from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs, tobacco and gambling.

Motherisk Program at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is a clinical, research and teaching program dedicated to antenatal drug, chemical, and disease risk counselling. It is affiliated with the University of Toronto.

Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) is a not-for-profit organization funded by the Government of Canada with collaborations across the country that include partnerships with researchers, practice leaders and front-line clinical leaders.


International

Fetal Alcohol and Drug Unit, University of Washington (FADU) is a research unit dedicated, since 1973, to the goals of studying fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) across the life span, disseminating research information, providing consultation for individuals affected by prenatal exposure to alcohol, and intervention with mothers at high-risk.

National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (NOFAS) is an international non-profit organization providing resources, education, advocacy and support for people affected by FASD.

SAMHSA - The SAMHSA Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Center for Excellence is a Federal initiative devoted to preventing and treating FASD.

NIAAA - A part of the National Institutes of Health, NIAAA conducts research on alcohol consumption and the prevention and treatment of alcohol-related problems.
